Today We Rember: 9/11/2001

Today, on September 11th, Freehold EMS is asking everyone to take a moment out of our very busy days to remember all of those who lost their lives in the 9/11/01 attacks on the World Trade Center. Countless civilians, firefighters, police officers, and EMTs lost their lives. We will always remember you.
Congrats to our Cadet Members, as well as the rest of the Class of 2017, on graduating High School tonight. Thank you for all you do for Freehold EMS and good luck with everything in your futures.
Today, Freehold EMS had 4 ambulances at each graduation, in addition to answering multiple emergency calls around the two towns. Special thanks to the members who attended and made this possible!

What a great start to Memorial Day Weekend! This evening Freehold EMS is holding a barbecue for our members. Music, food, training, and lots of fun! With the help of the Freehold Fire Department (Station 15), our Cadet members were able to demonstrate what happens on scene of a motor vehicle accident, and show their families what they do with Freehold EMS.
We had a great turnout and continue to thank our volunteers for what they do every day here at Freehold EMS.

EMS Expo...a HUGE success!

The 1st EMS Expo hosted by Freehold EMS and the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office was a huge success! Many people attended and took classes on different topics, got tours of different types of apparatus including a Medical Ambulance Bus (MAB), ambulances, Special Operations Vehicles, etc. Thank you to all those that attended as well as the agencies that participated to make this event a success. Special thanks to our own member, Peter DeNicola for coordinating this event and putting all the time and effort into ensuring this day's success!
2016 Emergency Services Expo

Less than a month away! Join Freehold EMS and the Monmouth County Sheriffs Office for the 2016 Emergency Services Expo. August 6th and 7th from 11am-4:30pm.
There will be Equipment tours and Demonstrations from a variety of services( including Freehold EMS, Monmouth County Sheriffs office, NJ State Park Police, NJ Forest Fire Service, MONOC, NJ EMS Task Force, NJSP, NJ search and Rescue, NJ Transit Police and many more)
In addition there will be lectures for anyone interested on various topics( Stroke, Autism Awareness, The Sharing Network and many more)
Today, Freehold First Aid walked in the Freehold's Annual Memorial Day parade. While we spend this day with our families and community, let us all humbly remember the men and women who have given their lives in service to our country.

Freehold Boro Council Kicks Off Annual Fund Drive!

Earlier this week members of the squad attended the Freehold Borough Town Council meeting. At the meeting Councilwoman Shutzer presented us with a proclamation marking the start of our Fund Drive.
Freehold EMS runs 100% on public donations. We do not bill for our services and we do not receive any money from your taxes. Please help us continue to provide this Free service!! Letters will be sent to every home and business in Freehold Borough and Township over the next few weeks to talk about how you can help!!!!
Freehold EMS Recognized by Board of Chosen Freeholders!

May 15-21st is National EMS Week. EMS week was created by President Ford in 1973, Recognizing the hard work of EMS providers from across the United States.
On Thursday members of Freehold EMS were honored to receive a Proclamation from the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders recognizing the squads dedication and service to the community.

Freehold EMS Gets a New Rig!

Today we received the newest addition to our fleet! This is the new 15-58 which will be replacing our 16 year old 15-61. It will hopefully be on the road by May!!!
4th of July Fireworks Standby

Members of Freehold EMS participated in a standby at the Freehold Racetrack for the 2015 Fourth of July Fireworks. 20 members were able to staff 5 ambulance, our officer's Tahoe, and our first responder vehicle. While at the standby, Freehold EMS was able to handle any emergency calls that took place inside the track, and also answer seven 911 Calls! Job well done to all the members that attended, and special thanks to 1st Lt. Kiwit, 2nd Lt. Peggy Haas, and Sgt. Pete DeNicola for organizing!
New Ambulance 1560 Delivered!

Freehold EMS recently took delivery of a brand new 2014 PL Custom ambulance. This new ambulance is equiped with a new electronic Stryker stretcher, which will increase the EMT's lifiting capabilities on calls. The rig is now officially in service, so you will be seeing it out on the streets of Freehold in no time!
